It is new and joyful, a new Bluegrass and Old time jam in Pressins, near Romagnieu, France. And it is each first saturday of the month from 16:00 to 18:00 in the restaurant "La Grange", on the D1006 road.
Organizing a regular jam is exciting. Sure, you hope it will start and grow with enough players attracted by this repertoire. We will work on thaht and the future will tell.
But you have to find a place, war and welcoming enough. This is La Grange, run by Guillaume and Charlene who will play her guitar again on this occasion.
Are you just an amateur, a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced musician, this jam welcomes everyone thanks to a special beginners time and slow jam in the beginning.
If you are not really familiar with the Bluegrass or Old Time repertoires, just know you can join even if you only plau a few basic chords.
And if this warmhearted music, made to be shared, catches you and you feel like becoming a regular player, this is it !

Note that it is possible that a Cajun or Irish tune happens to slip between a mountain song and a fiddle tune!.
To play or just discover and listen, the time and place are saturday starting at 16:00. And if you like good and tasty food, have dinner at La Grange after the jam. As a gourmet, I know you will enjoy it.
